For countless generations, Palawa people came together here to care for Country, share stories, conduct trade, celebrate cultural traditions, and enjoy the abundance of foods provided by the land and waterways. The Gorge holds thousands of years of history, culture, storytelling, and connection.

On this tour, you will be welcomed by a Palawa guide who will share stories passed down through generations and introduce you to a variety of native bush foods. You will also learn about traditional Palawa tools and technologies, gaining insight into practices that have been used and refined over tens of thousands of years.
